Biography
Mark McClain founded SailPoint in 2005 and built it into the identity governance market leader. Under his leadership, SailPoint went public in 2017 and was acquired by Thoma Bravo for $6.9B in 2022—one of the largest identity acquisitions ever. His vision of 'identity as the new perimeter' and focus on governance and compliance shaped how enterprises think about identity lifecycle and access certification.
