Biography
Kim Cameron served as Microsoft's Chief Identity Architect for nearly two decades, profoundly shaping the industry's approach to digital identity. His 2005 paper 'The Laws of Identity' established seven principles that continue to guide identity system design: user control, minimal disclosure, justifiable parties, directed identity, pluralism of operators, human integration, and consistent experience. His work laid the groundwork for claims-based identity, federation, and user-centric identity paradigms.
