1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using IAM Roadmap (the "Service"), including our website at iamroadmap.com and our iOS application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
IAM Roadmap provides:
- Educational content about Identity and Access Management (IAM) certifications, vendors, and career paths
- Developer tools for IAM-related tasks (JWT decoding, SAML parsing, password hashing, etc.)
- All tools process data locally on your device
3. Accounts
Creating an account is optional. Signing in lets you save items and sync progress across devices. You can sign in with a supported identity provider (such as Google) or with a one-time link sent to your email address. We never create or store passwords for your account.
- You are responsible for the security of the email account and identity provider account you use to sign in.
- You may delete your account at any time from the Settings tab of your account page. Deletion permanently removes your profile, saved items and progress.
- We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the Service or violate these Terms.
4. Use of Tools
Our IAM tools are provided for legitimate purposes including:
- Software development and debugging
- Security testing on systems you own or have permission to test
- Educational purposes
- Professional IAM work
You agree NOT to use our tools for:
- Unauthorized access to systems or data
- Creating, distributing, or using malware
- Any illegal activities
- Violating others' privacy or security
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by IAM Roadmap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Certification names, vendor logos, and trademarks mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any certification body or vendor unless explicitly stated.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Implied warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or completeness of content
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL IAM ROADMAP, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
8. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about IAM certifications, vendors, and career paths:
- Certification requirements and exam details may change without notice
- Salary information is based on market data and may vary by location and experience
- Always verify information with official certification bodies before making decisions
9. Tool Output Disclaimer
The output from our IAM tools (JWT Decoder, SAML Parser, Hash Generator, etc.) is provided for informational and development purposes only. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any output and for how you use that output. We are not responsible for any errors in tool output or any consequences of using that output.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
