Biography
Andre Durand founded Ping Identity in 2002, building it into one of the largest identity companies (acquired by Thoma Bravo for $2.8B in 2022). Earlier, he co-founded Jabber (sold to Cisco) and was instrumental in developing SAML federation standards. Known for his vision of 'identity as enabler' rather than just security control. Regular keynote speaker at Identiverse (which Ping Identity hosts).
